ON What to look for in a used Rx-8?

Hey guys,

After much thought, I have decided to purchased a used Rx-8. I live in Canada and my budget is just under 20k.

I was wondering which would be a better choice, an older rx8 with less mileage or a newer one with more?

Also, a while back I saw a PDF file containing information (a guide basically) on what to look for in an Rx-8 (to make sure it was well taken care of etc). I can't seem to find it anymore, does anyone know where it is? Any advice on this would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

06-07 MANUAL trans- low miles can be easily obtained for under 20K if you search around.

low miles are always good, but you don't want one too old to where the warranty is up once you get it, just keep that in mind!

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I will definitely try to get an 06+ model.

Any ideas on the PDF file though?

Look and see if any of these bulletins would be needed for the vechicle of your choice. http://www.finishlineperformance.com....php?pageid=11

always run ther VIN and check make sure not involved in accidents and not a salvage title. Make sure to bring the car to a mechanic you know and have them look it over before you buy the car.

Make sure to buy a black one as well, that is very very important.

Does anyone know how to tell if the engine was broken in properly? I heard that how you break in a rotary is far more important than how you break in a piston engine.
