Well since the old thread as sort of out of date I deleted it and made a new one. February 7th 3:30pm at Gordon's Sweet Imagination where the old irish pub used to be in the mall is where it will be held, plenty of parking and I can maybe get discounts for all of us since my wife works there. We could also print out some fliers or business cards to leave on 8s that we see parked to let people know about this site and our local club. We could be the CenTex8s or something like that. Or we could get with the Austin guys and see if they would let us do a local chapter of their group or something. Just an idea though.

Oh yeah and get your trans and diff oils from FluidMS, I told you jegs the other day, but then I saw that Fluid has them for even cheaper. Not much, but every little bit counts, plus Fluid is part of this site too. I don't know what their shipping is, but I'm sure it's probably comparable to anywhere else.

How's your schedule? Are you still off for the 7th? If nobody else shows, we can always install your footwell light at my place. I did mine this past weekend and it was pretty easy. After that I guess we could crank up the ol' PS3 again. Game on! Where's Joe? Do you know if he got his car back yet? I was hoping he would be attending the meet. I still need to get with him for those parts.

 

I think hes near deployment not sure. I'm still attempting to get that stripped bolt off. I also made some flyers for RX8club and these forums in an attempt to get more people with us.

 

Hopefully he hasn't left yet. The bolt still? That sucks, got any vice grips?
