racing beat header

im currently deployed and on my return im planning on purchasing the ignition solution, high flow cat or cat delete havent decided, new plugs, and the racing beat header. anyway, i was wodering if anyone has done the install? if so was it fairly easy or worth the trouble at all? i know i wont really feel any gains but how was the sound, im hopin that hooking it up to the high flow and sp2 cb i already have it should sound pretty mean. let me know thanks.

If you're looking for sound then adding the RB header will do that.

racing beat makes pretty high quality stuff, and they claim 4hp increase. from what i read on their website tho, it looks like it might not be fully available yet, so not too many people might have gotten it yet. mazdatrix has 'em in stock tho

It pretty painful if you have never done much before.

I'm guessing maybe 2-4 hrs for a newb who only has very basic hand tools.

1 hr for someone who has done it before and has air tools.

You need to take off:

Frame braces (all 3), cat, pass. wheel, pass. motor mount & bracket, air pump, manifold.

Some of those bolts are tricky, they can take 10 sec if you have the right tools or 30 min if you dont have the right tools.

4 HP is not worth the price of admission plus the hassle of installation (IMO of course).
