RX-8 Career Over.

So was sitting at a red light behind several cars.. Out of no where I was rear ended at about 50MPH from an elderly woman in the evening while on my way back to a clients location. She hit me with such force that I was rammed into the car in-front of me and then I pushed him into the vehicle in front of him.

pics yay.

Well anyways I turned around a got a VR-4 which is **** load faster and looks better and the awd on high boost hurts you lol. And its kinda funny on low boost it gets better gas mileage then the rx8. I will miss my rx8 but awd in the sleet today was very nice!!

see evry1 around happy driving. Never Follow!

Cool ride, hows your back?

I know a guy that had the same thing happen, he was thrown through the intersection and the whole back half of his car was about an inch from him.. Bad whiplash.

the handling in that compared to the 8 is pretty shitty. check out where the engine is in relation to the front struts. rofl.

i've always liked the later gen 3000gts though. very sexy cars.

u know, the interesting thing about cars is that it doesn't matter what kind of car you drive- be it an rx-8 or vr-4 or a freaking exotic for that matter. if u r sitting at a red light and get rear-ended by someone clueless going 50MPH, ur car is going to get ****-faced all-the-same, regardless...

sorry to hear about your accident and glad to hear no one was hurt.

Considering the RX8 and the VR4 are (were) not really in the same price range (RX8 mid $30,000, VR4 in the Corvette price range), the RX8 compares amazingly well according to many sources. Not sure where you get your statistics, but according to the auto channel they both do 0-60 in about 6 seconds and are rated at the same fuel consumption (due to the excessive weight of the VR4). Looks are subjective, but I find the RX8 to be much more imaginative, clever, and useful than any other car of its type. More interior room, visibility, and comfort too.

Considering you haven't considered what has been done to this car's engine and replaced turbo(s) I'm considering you don't know what you're talking about <3

Glad to see it turned around for you so nicely. I also own a 95 Stealth RT TT with AWD. Completely different machine. The 8 is much sexier though.

Yes, it's stored in CT at my father's house. It's never been modified, was a pace car, and has 40K miles. Mint condition. Here are some more photos: http://www.altspace.com/stealth
