Unhappy I'm still in love with my other car.

I'm still debating selling my 3000GT or paying the extra for insurance every month, but I love her so much .

Have any of you ever had a hard time getting over your old car as if it were a human being ? lmao

Sell your 3000GT and you will have some money to make your 8 much much more sexy. You will not look back on your decision.

It always happens I used to have a 2003 corolla S before my CX7 and my RX8 and i still miss it sometimes, I wish I would have kept it as a daily beater.

But I didn't wreck it... I betrayed it.

The other week I had a minor problem... spontaneously thought that I needed a new car so I started looking for a replacement... The RX8 looked great and reminded me of my GT so I bought one... then I got the news that my GT was in perfect condition and that it just needed a new belt .

I now have a Titanium Grey RX8... which I think was a mistake ONLY because if I had gotten a black one and threw some black wheels on it I would be happier?

I feel sooo crazy, haha. Anyone have advice on how to make my RX8 look like a batmobile? :D

yeah my 240 was still in working condition at 240k miles...

tint your windows, give it a good drop, maybe some black wheels and a body kit, the stock appearance pkg looks GREAT with a drop...

What's the cost range for having these kits installed? Or is there a 'how-to' guide?

Sorry if this is in another thread.

authentic mazdaspeed is pricey, but a damn near PERFECT fit...with the right tools and knowledge, body kits can be put in by yourself or with help of friends...

Yeah, but it gets worse after the car is long gone and you start thinking about it years down the road. To think I sold my '89 RX-7 for $100 (engine was blown) years ago because I was tired of paying for storage at the time tears me up inside especially since I have the time and space now to bring it back alive.

^If you know how to take your front bumper off, then you will know how to put the MazdaSpeed front bumper on. It uses the exact same holes as the OEM bumper. Only takes about 20 minutes tops to take it on and off. The sideskirts have brackets and you will need to drill holes into your car, therefore it will take longer to install. But there is a how to guide and if you follow it it's not hard at all.

p.s.- The Autobahn kit w/Ings +1 spoiler would also look extremely clean on an 8 if you're aiming for the batmobile look
