I have 18x7.5 wheels in the front i want to put some 20mm spacers in the front. I know people say it is a bad idea but what is the risk? Is it worth it? thank you

 

It will put more stress on your suspension, and your car will not handle as good. It will also push the wheel out more and become more flush with your fenders, therefore looking better. But as far as handling, it is worse. IMO anything less than 8" wheels for the RX8 isnt very good..

 

Thanks! yeah i hear that alot but i got a good deal on these wheels and my rears are 18x9.5 but im not to happy about my front wheels since theyre only 7.5

spacers are fine just buy good ones like kicks, not that crappy little ebay disc ones.

it is all about the offset..

btw, 18 x 7.5 works well with 245 40 18 track tires... with the correct offset..
