the trunk is actually going to be carbon fiber sending it away soon for a plain weave and the roof will be black just trying to decide if i want to paint the part between the tail light back to yellow and black chrome badges or keep it all carbon with lighting yellow badges im leaning towards painting it back to yellow and also i am doing veilside d1 gt kit with carbon diffuser if this helps your choice cast your vote

 

if you paint the back you should go up all the way to the lip.

 

never thought of that im not painting it though it is black because it is getting a layer of carbon fiber and with one layer i didnt want the yellow to show through but i may concider that

 

also debadged will look better.

 

I think it would clean if only the top of the trunk lid was black/CF and it ended in a nice and stealthy lip spoiler in CF like the one below (R-Magic Lip Spoiler ~$340).

 

i think you should make the top of the trunk lid yellow, and then leave the area where the license plate and the badges are carbon fiber, i will have to see if i can find a pic, there was an 8 on here that did this and i thought it looked sexy. just a thought
