Mazda Tonbo Concept

From Mazda Europe and DedekDesign

DedekDesign and Mazda of Europe have come together to conjure the Mazda Tonbo concept vehicle, specially designed to accommodate weekend trips. This sleek looking vehicle comes with a racking system that will be able to handle all your sporting equipment without missing a beat. What makes it more interesting is this is an amphibious vehicle - definitely not the first, but it is the best looking to date if it were to be rolled off manufacturing lines, slicing through water like an amphibian in its home. The Mazda Tonbo Concept also features an anti-vandal system that keeps it safe when parked, although we're pretty sure it ain't immune to spray paints and Molotov cocktails in a riot.

How about perfecting the 16x and getting it to market as quick as possible to stop the horrible sales results instead of working on something that will never see the light of day.

hmm from my understanding, these concepts are just to show ppl what the company has in store for the future. waht their goals are.

I like the idea of basing design on nature and its functionality..but I cant say the vehicles styling doesn't perplex me..

I've kind of soured on all of these "concepts" from Mazda after they completely scrapped the Kabura. Pretty pointless, IMO.

you guys understand that designers are employed to design stuff? current stuff and future stuff and stuff that never gets made because their job is to design stuff?
