Talking rear wheel spacers

if i wanted to make the width a little more aggressive could i use spacers to push the rims out a bit.

1. do they make a visual difference?
2. are they suggested?

You would need to add so many 'spacers' to make an appreciable visual difference that it would be unsafe in operation.

Instead - buy wider rims (e.g. 9.5 inch) and tires (e.g. 245 - 275x35) with the proper, integral, offset.

"Let's be careful out there."

You dont need to buy multiple spacers. They sell spacers in difference widths, biggest i seen was 3 inches.

to the original poster you can buy a good set of spacers like Project kics or Eibach etc. They will be hubcentric and will have extended bolts.

You need to put longer wheel studs to run a spacer that is thicker then about 5 mill. You wont have enough threads holding on the wheel for safe operation.

i dont like spacers. ive seen too many people lose wheels because of them. im talking about the ones that are really wide, like 1.5"-2.5" that have their own extended lugs. you need an extra set of wheels nuts as well. how about your just sell your 40th anv. wheels to me and buy some nice staggered fittment wheels.
