i have a crashed rx8 in my house
the crash happened on the passenger side door
and the rocker panel
everything else however is in good condition
year is 2005
mileage is 240xx
car is in upper NJ
i know the motor and trans can go for a good 2k each
so im just gonna put the car up for 6000OBO

fender is a little bent
no idea of the underbody
the motor and trans is working perfectly
i was able to drive it from the crash to my house
and also to the insurance claims place perfectly
im not sure what trim it is
it has every option except navi
red and black heated seats
and single cd radio but with aftermarket ipod (the audiolinx) or w.e
i will have the title before i sell it so can be considered title in hand
i will be buying the title with the insurance claim money

i dont think you would want the wheels and tires
i bought the car with an off oem wheel
so theres only 3 aftermarket ones

 

trans wont go for 2k. just a heads up. Probably $1000-1500 if you include freight.

HID headlights $2k MSRP can sell for $500
Wheels can be sold for easy $800
brake rotors and brake pads $100
Tranny $800
Engine $1000
Seats All $500
Steering Wheel and door panels $500
Hood $100
Fenders $500
Diff $500
Thats $5300 and only some parts of the car, not a bad investment for someone who is wanting a free car to do a 3 rotor race set up. and how i tell everyone else....only if u were in cali!!

 

i work at a body shop i could fix that rocker panel, buy a new door for 200$ paint materials around 200$ lol re-sell for a HUGE profit.... if i had 5k id be on my way to pick that bitch up

 

If it were that cheap/easy a fix it would not be for sale. Even paying body shop prices rocker panel, door and paint would be under $2000.

I bet there is a wrinkle in the tub and it would need to see some time on a machine to straighten it out. Pic is shitty so maybe even the a-pillar is dented and the roof wrinkled.

good question to ask would be did it set off the side bags?

 

yes the air bags were deployed

 

seat bags or curtain bags?

if anyone is interested in putting this car back togeter I have a set of curtain bags that were taken out of the car I am building.

if i were you i would try to sell the car all together because its a real pain in the *** to remove all the parts and package for shipping..and in the end your not going to make much if anymore then if you just sold it all together. and i guarantee you someone will buy that thing up b4 to long. like i mentioned before..that's an easy fix, if i had 6k it be mine already....stupid ******* economy..... I'm sure there's many others out there like me that have the money tho..lol .. try listing in local papers... good luck with the sale
