Whats the strangest term you have heard someone use to descripe your RX-8? I thought it was my parents thinking it looked like an old Corvette.

Then I heard this one from a co-worker. "Your car looks like a *****"

I read somewhere here once that an 8 owner got asked if their's was a Lamborghini...WHA?? Ok, the 8's sexy as hell, but a Lambo? Where the hell where they....Tuktiaktuk?

 

ROFL. I actually had a kid yell that out to his friends once when I drove by. I was hanging out with prospectjtaz and Agent008 once with both driver side doors open and some guy came up and said, "NICE MOD!"

Not for the whole car but I got a "Dorito spinning inside a peanut" comment once.

 

I had an old lady at Tim Hortons walk up to me while I was sitting in the car warming up actually *knock* on my window to get my attention, gave me thumbs up and said, "Nice car!"

 

LOL...!!! I get the "it looks like a Porsche"... and I love, love, LOVE..when they have to go to the back of the car to see what kind of car it is!!

2 Security Guards at Aquatica (Sea World Waterpark) thought it was a Yellow Ferrari!!

but of the smoothness of the rotary:

- so said some random dude who walked up to my car while I was waiting for someone. Turns out he was just a fellow rotary nut and used to own an RX-2.

Still, he looked scruffy and unkempt and I didn't roll the window down much; it's hard not to judge a book by its covers these days.

 

I had a guy come up to my front door around dinner time, ring the bell.

I answered it, and he said nice car! I used to have an RX-7, but i totalled it by wrapping it around a pole. I was having issues with one of the turbos so I thought I'd give it a good pull to see if I could get the gunk out. I was almost split in half on the impact and barely survived, ETC ETC ETC. He went on for about 25 minutes, then he asked me if I wanted to see a picture of the accident, he had it in his truck.

I THINK HE WANTED TO RAPE ME.

If you look at it from the top down from the hood to the headlights it looks like a *****.....but then again we 8 owners don't see that because we are all pure and clean right?
