VividRacing RX8 body kit, mirrors installed

Just installed! AutoExe body kit, and Ganador mirrors. The mirrors were an easy install and come with nessasary hardware. The body kit took a bit longer. The factory apperance pkg pieces ( the side spats) I left on for now as I found that they leave 1/2" sized holes when you remove them and the AutoExe side skirts don't cover them up. I've got a plan for that though, and will be addressing it next week. Also, we just got in the first finished Production B&B catback and test pipe in today and I will be installing it tonight after work. I'll have a sound clip by Monday. Wait till you see the tips! In the meantime, enjoy the pics. Recap for the record:

-Volk LE37T 19x8.5, 19x9.5
-Falken FK-451 245/35/Z19 front, 285/34/Z19 rear
-JDM Clear corners
-JIC FLT-A2 Coilovers
-Painted JDM Ganador mirrors
-AutoExe body kit
-B&B Catback exhaust
-B&B Test pipe

--waiting to get my R Magic eyelines back from the painter
--comming soon K&N Intake
--comming soon Cusco Titanium front strut brace
--comming soon Cusco sway bar

To see pics go here: http://www.vividracing.com/index.php...bmenu=Gallery#

I'll have a full write up on the install soon. To see other write ups go here: http://www.vividracing.com/index.php...=Project%20RX8

are the appearance package side skirt add-ons removable?

i assume they aren't if you opted to go without the autoexe sideskirts.

if this is true im gonna kill myself for being such a doofus and picking my car up with the appearance package.

Hey,

The car looks great! Glad to see someone actually wanted to be a little bit more original and bought a body kit OTHER than Mazdaspeed!

The autoexe aero kit is nice, but (in my opinion) Volk wheels are played out... They are very nice wheels, don't get me wrong, but everybody's got em' these days. Look into SSR, Work, Advan, or Wed's maybe.

But yeah, that's one sick RX-8 you guys got for a shop car. Keep up the good work.

XeRo- Yes, the mirrors are power, they come with wiring h
arnesses that plug into the stock plugs.

I can see your point about teh Volks being played out, but sometimes you see that one wheel that just seems to Talk to you.

the car looks AWESOME. i didn't think i'd like autoexe's front end but it looks so good, esp from the side. i love the wheels. the mirrors look good, too. just my opinion, but the only thing i don't like is the spoiler, that's getting replaced?

Thumbs up

i love that rear bumper compared to stock. it takes away that plastic material in the rear. vivid do you plan on adding a grill-type mesh for that rear between the two exhaust?

Looks good. Its just kinda a shame that the front has to look like the 350z in front of the wheels.

You pics confirm (at least for me) that I could do a Mazdaspeed front bumper and it would still look good with my appearance pkg. side skirts.

Very nice!
