These cars have dropped in value but not that far. Even early automatic models (the least desireable) are selling for more than that. BTW, miles on these cars are largely irrelevant because some of them are getting engines replaced, therefore you can have a higher mileage car with a new engine.

 

I'm sure someone will part with their rx8 for 10k cash.

 

yeah, as soon as I figure out how to disable the immobilizer system and find out where all the vin numbers are stamped.

The only way to get an RX8 like that for $10,000 you would probably be looking at a 2002 RX8 or earlier.
