The bottom line is that even with two extra seats compared to the old RX-7, the latest "hummer" from Japan is truly a sports car.

I'm on Autoblog like eleventy billion times a day, and this article made up for all the non-interesting cars they test.

I'm hoping I can swing an R3 early next year, all the reviews of it thus far have been exceptionally positive.

I read Autoblog everyday. It was a very positive review considering the basic car is going on 5+ years old.

 

Small nitpick -

While it's true that NSU did manufacture and sell a small number of rotary-powered cars, this was only possible due to the fact that Mazda was forced to disclose the breakthroughs they made in rotary technology as part of the licensing agreement. Were it not for Mazda's advances, there never would have been a single rotary vehicle sold anywhere.
