I need to replace my front bumper and the "engine under cover" (don't know the technical term for it. But, was wanting some opinions on this front bumper I found. It's made from a Duraflex (also insight on this... don't know anything about it).

 

If you like it, go for it. I would caution you to do some research about which brand you buy since aftermarket body kits can range from "fits like a glove" to "fits like refried ***".

Good rule of thumb, the cheaper the kit the more you'll end up spending at a body shop to get it to fit.

 

Yeah, I don't know much of brand for exterior appearances... on what to look for. I am not too big in body kits... but, my car had the bottom bust from a deer and I need to replace a few parts.

I guess Duraflex is also the brand as well as material (cross between fiberglass and plastic from what I understand).

Looks like the Mintblue Front bumper or the charisma front. I would advise against buying a replica kit , they usually cost a lot to modify to fit well from a body shop. Oh and welcome to the forums

man, ur car looks aggressive!! would you get bored of looking at it for a long time?? sorry i am just wondering what people think when they already have an aggressive look cuz usually like veilside, people(owners) get bored with the look quite easily.

 

I like it, but aftermarkets are a pain in d ***, search a lot before you buy it! look for things like fitment, etc etc

dude....all caps....slow down.....and there are some bumpers that are perfect fit such as ms and kenstyle.....both of which are offered as mazda parts from dealers

 

I have Tsunami bumpers availiable again they fit like OEM and are real polyurethane not some imitation stuff like duraflex. Duraflex is basically a fiberglass bumper with a rubberized resin that allows it to flex but it is still fiberglass. There is nothing that compares to polyurethane that is why it is the manufacturers use it to make their bumpers.
