Hey all, i was cleaning my 8 and i noticed i had some white spots only on my front bumper and on the front part of the hood up to maybe 5 inches after the mazda emblem, and i was wondering how i can get that stuff off. It's just that front bumper with the white marks on it. I don't think its water marks because usually they look like white circles maybe its that maybe its something else idk. If anyone has any suggestions oh how to clean it off id greatly appreciate it.

its rock chips. no way around it except for repaint and clear bra.

 

Are you sure it's not just bird **** splatter? Have you tried soap and water?

this alone should tell you its rock chips. a clear bra is usually applied to the entire front bumper, a small strip at the leading side of the hood, and the small frontal area of the fender. if you drive a lot of freeway, it's inevitable.

 

Bug guts, chips, bird crap, wax you accidentally flung everywhere!

Im just starting to tell myself that on my BB, these mysterious white spots look like stars in a beautiful night sky!

Not sure how that will help me on resale.........
