Favorite Modification?

Hey guys...just a general question...what has been your favorite modification to your vehicle? Whether it be cosmetic or Performance? My favorite cosmetic is my Z06 spoiler...my favorite performance is my ram air intake.

Btw...I just ordered something new for the vette:

4.10 gears

You want more acceleration? I think the stock gear set at 3.42 is fine for the Vettes performance. Unless you plan on dragging your car, it not worth the money , nor the extra gas as you plant your right foot all the way down to the floor. Not to mention your top end will drop, not a biggy , not like you will hit 180 anytime soon in America....

From what people have told me, the 4.10's are great for the vette. Gas mileage will drop slightly...but people that got them said they only noticed less than 1-2 mpg drop. Also, top end really wont be affected. Stock, the top speed of the C6 is reached in 5th gear. With 4.10's, top gear will be reached in 6th gear...meaning I won't drop any of my top speed.

i put 3.73 rear gears in my mustang - huge improvement - the only bad thing was the fact they werent 4.10's - that vette is gonna jump and pull so much harder. the best mod u can realy do for a car - that realy adds some performance - that wont costs thousands - if anyone on this site realy cared about gas - they wouldve got the mazda 3 - lol - realy - lol - its a price we all pay - for the love of cars and speed - the faster the cars get - the more gas they use - but we all want faster cars - so - vote for obama - the only chance we got in saving what we realy love - being able to mod our cars - and afford to drive them - good luck with the gears - your gonna love them -

Well, it's not much, but I think almost required - clear corners with stealth bulbs.

You made the right choice. 4.10's on a 6-speed vette is the way to go.

Hmm favorite mod...I guess it's a toss up between my stall, my cutout, and my cam.
