Question Gas milage

Hi

On average my warning light comes on with 1/8th of a tank.
I have gone as far as 515km on a tank. Light comes on around 475km
At 515km the needle is still above the last tick.
How far can I go?

Thanks

RD

Yeah, you are an anomally. I got 438KM once with my 6MT. My lights comes on around 400KM, and by the time I reached the gas station at 438KM I was way below the last hash mark (then I blacked out and woke up in a ditch - Kramer)

On average I get about 410KM a tank. It's that damn 4000RPM cruising speed at 120KM/H on the highway

Go 117 - 118km/h... the you'll be riding at 3700rpm, right around the part when the secondary intake runners kick in.

Maybe that helps?

But I read in the fourm that the ACTUAL rpm is 50-100rpm LESS than what you saw in car...

I need to find the source of that tho...

If I can do 120km/h without opening secondary injectors...that will be nice

Mine does 127km/h at 4000 rpm. Someone should post how many km they get on a tank without going over the 3750rpm mark. It's way to hard to stay under that rpm. I feel like I'm falling asleep and shifting way to early/much. I could never run thru a tank driving like that, I would shoot myself first.

I am at 300-340 to a tank.

All city driving, so lots of stop and go traffic and lots of useless idling.

You are lucky youre getting the mileage youre getting.
