RX-8 Store Exhaust

I'm about to buy one of these to go along with my RX-8 Store midpipe. Does anyone have the catback? Pros/Cons?

I had the rx8 store catback for 2 years with the stock cat. I installed it myself (fine except those darn spring loaded nuts) without much trouble.

The exhaust is quite a bit louder than stock and does have a bit of a drone at certain cruising speeds which eventually became annoying. I do recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight exhaust with a deeper note as long as you don't the added noise for daily driving. The tips look great too (clean them often). I did recently take mine off and will probably be putting on a RB catback.

I imagine adding that midpipe will make it very loud, so be prepared. It should give a little performance boost though.

Jason at rx8 store took care of me when I ordered so no complaints there. Hope that helps.

thanks a lot man, big help.

luckily, this thing isn't daily driven, and will only be used for weekend flame-shootin'. the previous owner debadged it, so the fact that it shoots flames out the back will only add to the "what the **** is that thing" factor the car already has.

i don't mind the noise or a CEL. if the noise gets too bad, i'll just weld in another resonator. no biggie.

it is a full 3", correct?

hmmm I'm not positive on this. You might ask rx8 store. The pipe is definitely big.
