Hi guys, was wondering if there's any bumpers for the new RX8? Will the 'older' bumpers like RE-A, lagsports etc. fit the new 09 RX-8 considering it has the LEDs on it?

 

older bumpers won't fit. there are some new ones out already for the 09s like autoexe.

 

mmmmm autoexe for the 09 looks much better than for the 04-08 years.

 

i'm thinkin you should pick up an 09 rx-8. hahah

 

just went to autoexe website and took a look.... but didn't manage to see their new bumpers for the 09 RX8. Anyone here has any links or pictures? Is it under the SE-03?

yes nycgps... its the same website I went to. The one in metallic grey is the new bumper for 09 models?

 

SE-03C is the one for 09 or later model

 

at least it is better than the factory bumper on the 09...

it makes me wanna put my car back to stock, trade it in, get the 09, then buy this bumper

 

Most of the Japanese ones who made 04-08 I'd guess since this body will be sold for the next few years at least.

I'd wait to buy something until the MS kit comes out. When pics of the 09 first came out one was included. It looked incredibly good.

Oh and there were two Autoexe kits for the '04/08 cars. The second one most people here didn't get but it's pretty close to the '09 kit.

It is freakin' nice.

 

for sure the japanese rotary tuners will make kits for the 09s, im looking forward to see what they put out.

Obviously still not available in the US (those pics are from the 'Concept' so they might not come true at all). And now that I've seen AutoExe's kit I think I would go with their front and the sides/rear/spoiler from the MS kit unless of course you got the AutoExe quad tips.

Lol ... The rx8 looked like a real sports car , now look what they did to it. Looks like some gangster bling factor car ..no thanks. Although the autoexe one doesnt look to bad

 

any chance if the Autoexe SE-03 is aable to fit on the new RX8 which I change the side fenders at the same time as well?

 

there is no rx9 yet.

in other news, the headlights are different to on the 09s.
