Agancy Power exhaust

So I got an e-mail from a friend that works at Agency Power in Chandler AZ. They needed an RX-8 to test fit there new Stainless Titanium Tipped exhaust system on. Well you know me I said sure why not. OK so some of you don't know me.

Anyway here are some pics of it before and installed. Looks like a nice piece of work. You can get it either with the catles mid pipe or without. They offered it to me at a discounted price. I'm not selling this system so I'm not going to tell you the price, so please don't ask.

Anyway here are some pics.

If you just get the cat back sections, you'll still have your stock cat and pass emissions with no problem.

I have that same setup. Surprisingly my car never threw a CEL with the midpipe on. However we dont have emmisions tests here either. I eventually grew tired of the loudness of the midpipe and just went catback. I am a huge fan of the sound with cat, the midpipe I wasnt. Just to loud for me. But at the same time I'm also debating on picking up the mazsport midpipe. Everyone says that's really quiet.

With the midpipe on I didnt think it sounded bad, just loud.

Whats so different about it? That looks exactly the same as the one I got in December. And it is STUPID loud. I thought it was cool at first, but it's ricey sounding. I ended up getting the mazsport dual resonated midpipe and now it's fantastic. I love those tips even though they melted the **** out of my exhaust shrouds.

The quality is top notch though. Overall I am happy I got it. But it probably is the one of loudest exhaust with the catless midpipe out there.

You will not regret the mazsport midpipe with the AP exhaust, it is FANTASTIC. Although, you will have to ask Scott about when the midpipe for automatics is going to be released. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think they are just starting to make it.

No I totally forgot about that. If you could go to that website you named, type in agency power rx8, and find me more exhaust videos, I would greatly appreciate it. It just seems that out of 12 search results only one has exhaust sound

I think he meant the video is with the catless pipe on and he was looking for a video clip with it just being catback? IDK?

still wondering what makes it different. does the midpipe have dual resonators or a resonator and high flow cat? the catback looks the exact same as the old one. after a while the rivets on the tips come loose and they rattle like crazy.

the tips arent far enough out.

it looks pretty similar to the turbo xs. (even the part about the tips not being far enough out.)
