hdr picturess

I took my first HDR picture of my stock rx8
came out incredibly i think. almost mazda brochure status



took another one with a couple of my friends
god we're such spoiled kids haha



enjoy!

also it feels good to know that my car looks just as nice as cars that cost 10k+ than mine

ugh does anybody ever bother tone mapping their "HDR" images?...

well the way i mae my HDR pictures is by using a camera on manual setting (i use the old version of the cannon rebel) place it on a tripod or some other stationary surface and then take 3 pictures. One with a dark light setting another with a regular and the last with a bright setting then using the trial version of photomatix, I upload all 3 of the pictures and it maps them into a single picture that you can tweak a little bit to your liking

you take 3 images (generally) at different exposures and you use digital imaging software to "merge" them.. that's the basics atleast

anyone can do that nowadays.. but people miss what "HDR" is really all about and how to truly create a GOOD HDR image.
