Ok, I think I have decided to add a sunroof to my RX8. Note, a sunroof is not a sliding panel but rather a tilting glass panel that is removable. The RX8 is the first vehicle I have ever owned that was not a convertible and it is starting to bug me a bit. I have read all the horror stories of adding a sliding moonroof (so no need to re-hash all that). After doing a ton of research and calling several sunroof specialist shops it would appear that a removable / tiltable sunroof should work fine. They are more sturdy in structure then a sliding moonroof and basically the operation cannot break / malfunction. Has anyone out there done this or know of one out there with one? Now I need to figure out what dimensions I need to order.
