Talking Question bout RX8(plus a lil favor)

ok..the question is that i noticed when accelerating to high RPMs at certain time a high pitched clicking noise comes out of the engine. I heard it when i had my window down sitting in the passenger seat. Is this a known issue, it only comes at certain times(usually in an area with an echo)..its a 2004 rx8

OK now for the FAVOR!!!

so i enetered this contest for the Blu-Ray and i was wondering if i could get your guys support! All you need to do is spend like 5 seconds to open up the webpage and press vote for this entry!!!!...i just need to get to rank 50 or above, and im already rank 64. I would really enjoy it if you fellow Rotary lovers would vote for my poster i made to support Blu-Ray.

It's probably the VFAD (variable flowing air duct) switching from the longer intake tube to the shorter one. Don't worry about it too much.

MIAC is from detonation usually use higher octane if you're using someting low.....or if you'[re using top octane it prob is just VFAD switching over depends on exactly how it sounds
