Made the long term committment

I have posted a few threads here since I joined about a couple of months ago. My first was in reference to over spay on my car, eventually repainted. My other post was about a $7000.00 discount being offered in NY on 2008 GTS about 6 weeks ago.

Just traded my 05 "repaint" toward a new 40th Aniver. The sticker was 34 and change, 6MT, Aeros, all the 40th stuff. Paid 26K. Got 16,500 for my 05 with 30K. Just wanted to thank everyone who has been so helpful. I only owned my other 8 for a year, wasn't sure if I would keep it. Todays purchase, I only drive 4 to 5 K per year, will keep me in the 8 family for many years to come. Again, thank you for the help and knowledge.

Seems that you did well on trade in and purchase. Congrats on the 40th!

Thanks for the support

Will post pics tomorrow. My only initial unique impression of the new 8 was that the clutch pressure seems much lighter. Also car is quiter, but then it is new.

I love the way the appearance package looks on the 40th Anniversary. Your 8 looks awesome. Only 4 - 5k miles per year? Wow, 20 years and you'll probably be under 100,000. I'm jealous....you're going to have your 8 forever (if you want to keep it).
