you know what it is its that there is extra material on the zeta pad now. Plus its on a lil snug. Over all it fits pretty good to be honest. Besides you look at it from the main surface usually. once it settles in it'll fit more flush.

I mean some will like it some wont it is what it is bro ya know? i happen to like it. besides the zeta arm rest pad is bulky to begin with...but thanks for looking...

it doesn't sit flush anymore. the zeta pad is perfectly shaped to the console lid.

Yeah I know i believe its due to the extra leather underneath. i am going to tweak it and trim some of the excess leather away. Im guessing that is what is not letting it sit flush 100% like the pad used to.

Another factor is that my leather is on really tight, lol...i wanted a tight fit. That could be it too.

I'll work on it some more and post more pictures. But I have a hunch that once I tweak it a lil bit it will look super good.

But over all if you look at the way the skin is designed it is designed very well. He got the contours of the pads very well. Pound for pound it is a great product. Like the original designs for the regular lid skin people had to tweak it to get it to sit perfect and flush as well. Give me a few days to play with it and and I'll get it to look better.

Once again I know not everyone is a fan of the zeta arm rest pad and im sure these pictures arent making you want to go out and puchase it but I personally love it.

Does anyone know if the Alcantara material from shiftstyle has the same texture as the cloth seats and door panels?

OK so i tweaked it a bit. I cut about a 1/4 inch of material all around underneath the pad - the excess leather material. I also installed 4 1' squared pieces of velcrow on each corner of the zeta pad. the pad only comes w/2 long strips of velcrow down the middle of the pad that does not extend to the endes.

After I did this the pad sat better. All I have to do is reglue the sides underneath and whalla this is what is looks like now. I took evening shots so they arent as bright as the previous pix but I tried to capture a decent amount of angles.

Now keep mind al the pictures I have taken are close ups. So it may seem like it isnt sitting well now but it actually is...Here we go...

Wouldn't this look better if it actually wrapped around the stock piece instead of just sitting on top of it?

Yeah but the Zeta arm rest pad is like 100 x's more comfortable than the OEM lid. Plus the Zeta pad raises your arm a lil and prevents you from accidently turning on the heated seats.

Like I've stated before I don't expect everyone to like it.
