I have made a few updates to my rx8 and thought I'd throw up some pics... I haven't seen a TON of racing beat rear wing pics on the forum so I figured a thread with some pics specifically of this piece might be worthwhile to other members...

New look includes: Tein S-Techs, Removed Strakes + New OEM Vents and (obviously) Racing Beat Rear Wing.

Fitment on the wing is EXCELLENT and I really love the lines of the wing. In my opinion is accents the car nicely and is the perfect blend of simplicity and aggressiveness... feel free to post any disagreements

The car is begging for a mazdaspeed front bumper... will do that just as soon as she is no longer my DD... I am counting down the days. So far I am very pleased with the overall theme of the car.

I love that wing--that is on my list of things to do definately. Great looking 8. It is way nicer than the mint blue wing IMHO. Mint blue is enormous.

Wow, I actually like that. When I looked at it on the RB site I didn't pay much attention because I don't like their front bumper. Nice wheels too.

I think the pinstripe and the blue lugs do a good job of "breaking up" the lines and colors of the car but keeping it nice and clean.

 

I'm not even a wing person and I like that one. Looks awesome!!!

 

Sleek look with the white. One thing though, your rear valance is turning grey.

 

does this bolt up to the stock mounting holes or does new ones have to be drilled?

The wing does mount up to the stock holes w/ ZERO modification. This is what really appealed to me about the wing. Very good fitment as well.

 

Bolts right up. Only caveat is that there will be holes left unused from the OEM spoiler, although they will be covered by the RB spoiler. Oh and you may have scratches left from the OEM spoiler that will be visible. More excuse to go ahead and debadge.

Looks great. I've had this spoiler for a couple years now, but i have only seen one or two others with it. I've always liked white as much as my black.

 

That's what I was thinking too. They look awesome on white!

 

Pretty good looking work there, but the wing just isn't my style. It's like the Sport S4 wing for the FC RX-7. I don't know, I guess I'm spoiled by my stock wing for the 8.
