I'll be in Des Moines within the next month or so and was curious if anyone wanted to meet up? I'll be there for a week. The original plan was to be there from the 23rd to the 30th. I may change that to be there the week of the state fair though. I'm not quite sure yet. There are only a couple of things I have absolutely planned out as the purpose of my visit is mostly to see my 90 year old grandmother. One day is going to be spent at the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad. I was thinking about doing the lunch train. Anyone want to make that a meet?

 

Rotary Car Club of Chicago is having a BBQ/Picnic on the 27th, in NW Indiana, if you want to come over.

 

The dates are going to be Aug 6-13. One of those days I'm going to take a day trip to Austin, Minn. to see some family there,
