When you installed your rear springs did you have to unbolt the lower arm and mark the alignment bolt?

The s-tech will lower the front about 1.2in and the back at 0.7in.....the h-tech is a lot smaller of a drop.....I think it only drops the car anywhere from 0.4 to 0.7in....

You do have to unbolt the lower arm. Now marking the alignment is up to you but I would. I didn't!! I forgot!! LOl. But with a 5 yr alignment plan i have, I really didn't care cause I get free alignments.

i unbolted the upper rear bar and had a friend push down on the spindle while i pulled the strut out over the lower arm so i dont have to mark the cam bolt but thats just me i dunno how your supposed to do it but its just easier for me to do it that way and anyone that wants springs installed let me know ill do it for ya

jew is right. with extra pair of hands you dont have to unbolt it but if your doing the install solo than unbolt them. I was solo so i unbolted them and they when up with ease.

I plan on having an extra set of hands when doing my install so I will not be unbolting my lower control arm.

Thanks for clearing that up.

no problem man its not hard to do the springs just time consuming if you dont know what your doing. it was my second time doing it with hand tools and only took me about 3 and a half hours of turning bolts. just make sure you remember what went where, i had that problem with a couple bolts and they have similar threads but different lengths so i just stuck them in the hole and figured out which one fit better
