Intake Help Please!

I am stuck between all these choices. Im looking for more sound and performance but looks always help too so the best overall intake. Suggestions and just picking a number would help me out a lot. Thanks

1) Mazdaspeed CAI
2) WEAPON R DRAGON CAI
3) AEM CAI
4) Greddy CAI
5) K&N CAI

stock intake is good. just get a green filter or k&n drop in filter.

next up would be stock intake with racing beat ram air attachment ($130) to funnel air into the intake.

If you want a standard cai, get the aem ... they run around $330 shipped right now.

the mazdaspeed one is the same unit, but costs about $100 more.

the gains are trivial, I'd say stick with the stock box unless you have the need to change stuff just for the sake of changing stuff.

If you want a different sound, get an exhaust.

4 and 5 is wrong

Greddy never made any intake for this car. at least not for NA applications.

K&N is a short ram intake, not CAI.

but just save your money, stick with stock. unless u're crazy *** like me who just want to try it all (Mazdaspeed here I come ! )

I got the Racing Beat unit as well.

I got a Weapon R intake for my brother's Accord years ago. What a piece of junk.

wow nyc... u're just ballin outa control =) didn't u get the aem???

anyway, i vote for an exhaust as well. even for minimal gains, its more functional as its getting hot exhaust gases out and most are stainless steel.

but if intakes are a must, i pick a k&n...

Exhaust and Intakes are more for sound then anything else on a NA 8. I had the MS exhaust first and I got it for the sound. About a month later the MS CAI was added and it added more definition to the sound.

I've heard other 8's with MS/AEM on stock exhaust and they do sound better then stock.

Notice I said nothing of performance? Cause neither will gain you noticeable increases.

If you're looking to change the sound of the car, it's not a waste of money. If your goal is HP then you'll need FI... but you'll still end up replacing exhaust and mid pipe
