Well, after an old guy decided to not look behind him while backing up his 95 chevy 1500, my baby is back after about 2 weeks in the shop. I could not be happier! I was driving some Malibu that smelled like Grandpa does, and it was making me ill. I got in the car, and first thing I thought of was, 'Man! It's a royal PITA to get in and outta this car...' Then I pulled away, and took off down the highway trying to make it back to work on time and I remembered.....


The pure sound of rotary bliss as the engine spun up to nine-grand on the tachometer. I slowly realized my radio was off, as I heard the engine and drove all the way back to work (16 miles or so, mostly highway) red-lining every chance I got. Needless to say, the issue of getting in and outta my car with knees that are starting to fall apart, completely slipped my mind, as did work and everything else... pure driving enjoyment was all that was there!
