I am debating which to get vinyl over lay or fiberglass ones? I think the fiberglass ones would be easier and last longer but wondered if any one had experience with them.

tons of people have fiberglass eyelids. much better than vinyl, i would say.

 

i have the carbon fiber sticker as my eyelids, i traced em from Atillas and then cut em out then slapped em on, still on to this day, no peeling or airbubbles, im satisfied

 

the pro on the vynil ones are you can draw any shape you want they are cheap and you can get any color you wish CONS are they get scratched you have the replace the vynil the color may fade or the adhesive may fail

the pro on the FG or ABS or CF are they last and won't fade the cons are some are pricey and you have to get them painted.

 

i have FG ones. SO far no problems and love em.

also the con on fiberglass ones is that there is a chance that they can fly off or be stolen...hahaha

 

LOL only if you use cheap adhesive or double sided tape....stolen well if someone steels them they obviously need them more than you...lol

 

fg is the only way to go.....vinyl in my opinion looks kinda cheap.....

the eyelids are fiberglass and pretty good quality.. price is also pretty reasonable, i think around $45 chrism also has the accolade eyelids.

 

I thought that only happened if you had strakes. ha ha

Dam those Vertex eyelids.. I should have put them on...

 

I went with R-Magic, You can order them according to the color of your car so you don't need to go to a body shop to get them painted, and they fit perfectly with provided 3M double sided tape.

also i wouldn't recommend the vinyl version eyelids.
