Has anyone debadged there RX8? I would like to see pictures if you have, I'm thinking about doing it this weekend.

 

Just be warned. If you debage you car, there will be holes in the bumper and trunk. The flying M and the mazda badges have pins in them (2 in the flying M's and 3 in the mazda badge). The rx8 badge is just a sticker (no pins).

 

Dominion's car is debadged and you can't even see the holes when driving from behind him.

 

I figured the flying M would have holes, but I didn't know about the Mazda badge. Thanks for the heads up, that would not have been a cool surprise.

 

Well if you get your Mazda debadge and then get the holes filled and repainted. It will look like this...OnePhatGuy Mazda. Looks clean.

i lil bit of welding for the trunk , some plastic filler for the bumper and some paint and emblems are gone

looks like a Holden Monaro(GTO) wing

 

yup,,, I think there are about half a dozen people whom have this wing, but not one of them went as far as to remove the third brake light.... Sooo Clean ...

I understand taking off some dealer name badge, but I never understood why anyone wants to debadge an RX8.

Why do it?

I get that question anyway.

Personally I wouldn't mind pulling some of the badges off the back as it seems a bit too busy...but I'm lazy.

Very nice Rotr8, super clean without the 3rd break light too. Almost didn't notice!

 

not too many people do, with other 8 people I usually have to point it out or they say what trunk(aftermarket) is that, and people without 8s dont ever notice...

 

just debadged my trunk, only the rx8 emblem

i know about the post im waitin to get all the supplies to weld then mud over and primer then paint it. thats why i havent done the other emblems yet
