I was wondering. Well, I did search for links, but couldn't really find anything specific. I am a recent member and my background is Corvettes. There is a company called Mid America that sells leather, cloth and vinyl interior restoration and or customization kits for Corvette interiors. Is there anyone who sells such things for RX8s? I realize there are far more Vettes on the road then there will ever be RX8s, but this is my THIRD consecutive Black on Black car!!

Yes, it's gorgeous, when clean. Yes, the black interior is classy, if you haven't seen it over and over and over and over I looked at buying new seats. Do y'all realize that a new seat costs $1500.00??? Four of them = $6000.00, and that's not including the door and steering wheel trim!!

So, could some kind soul point me in the right direction, no I don't need a snide "Use the damn search function!!" I tried that!

i was lookin for doin the same thing with my 8. i went to a local upholstry guy and he quoted me for around $1,500 for my interior. which isnt shabby but i have heard some good things about katzkin

 

any local custom shop can do a quality job at changing your interior for a fair price. to change the entire interior to leather i was quoted 1100.

just search around for a well respected custom shop in your area.

 

After I got my RX8, I was looking for "parts" and a site for interior work came up. Unfortuneately, didn't save it, but Katzkin looks familiar, Thanks for the start. Now all I have to do is convince the Finanace Minister...maybe the old, "It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission" will work.
