I just picked up my car from a body shop to have some brake work done and when I went to pick it up the tech told me about 5 probs my car was having. First he ran a diagnostic to see why the check engine light was on and it brought up 3 codes...
1: Po 456 Evap. very small leak.
2: U0073 Control Module Comm. Bus. off
3: U0101 Lost comm. with TCM
My main concern with these is the severity of the issues and what to do about getting them fixed. Basically: has anyone else exerienced these problems and what did you do to fix them.

Secondly: My oil sending unit is leaking...the tech said it coulda been due to the new engine when it was put in, they may have busted it...? AND...my AC is runing hot and cold air and he said there is dye on the bottom of the craddle...?

Any input would be greatly appreciated, because I have only had the car for 3 months and all of this happened all of a sudden. My RX8 is an 04 Automatic with 47,000 miles on it. Thanks in advance!

 

HOT and COLD AC is normal. That's the way it works.

Have a mechanic fix the sending unit and then clear the codes.

You take your car to a body shop to have mechcanical work done?

 

1. Gas Cap
2. Check harness, check ECU
3. Same as Above.

04 Automatic ... Call MNAO see if your car is one of those with *unusually long Bumper to Bumper warranty*, if it does, bring it in to dealership let them check.
