Will this void my warranty with Mazda? I'm especially concerned since I bought mine from Autobarn.

As long as it isn't timed, which I am pretty sure it isn't, there is really nothing they can do with your warranty.

I may have to wait 'til next time then. My friend decided to get married that Saturday so I might not be in a driving mood on Sunday

That is correct - is a non-timed, non-competition event - so warranties are not affected.

Please pass this info on to anyone who you think might be interested!

Is this the south course or the north course? In the first post of this thread it says south course, but autobahn's website shows it on their schedule as being the north course?

I just talked to Joe at Autobarn. It is the north course. Works out well for me - i just ran the south course and wanted to run the north one separately before trying the full track.

Joe was very helpful on the phone.

Marc,

I signed up about a week and a half ago. However, still haven't gotten a confirmation email like he said I was supposed to. Not sure if they haven't come out yet or if they forgot to send it to me. I left him a message yesterday but didn't hear back.

Shouldn't, last year the guys from the local dealership were driving cars with stickers still in the windows on the South Course.

^ lovely. my car was a demo car, i wonder if my 8 has already seen track time in it's first 1000 miles. it's like doubting that your girl really lost her virginity to you.

i would so love to do this but father's day, my friend's wedding, and my niece's birthday have sucked up my funds for the month

MDW....yea I'll be there...I am only doing one track time though. As I just got it back and it isnt fully tuned. I am only boosting 4 PSI for safety. I just want to try out a road course first, and then I think in August ( MVP sponsored?) there is more track time at autobahn. But, we will at least get to see it run for about 25-30 mins haha. I also still may be selling it though, I will have dyno tuned with graphs tuesday. I'll see you there and talk to you more there!

Last time I came to watch I think I paid $20 as a spectator PS: it was the track (Autobahn) that charges the entry fee, not the sponsor.

I think each entry is allowed one "guess/crew" then additional folks/passengers are charged a fee for the food and entry/pit pass.

I received a request to offer up the following offer for the Autobarn Mazda Track Days this weekend. We hope many of you or your friends would be interested in taking them up on this.

Anyone who has already registred will receive a refund for 50% of their ticket.

We hope that you can share this with all of your contacts and make the effort to contact Joe Moulton @ The Autobarn (847-570-3047) to register or RSVP.

That is an AMAZING price for any track day, let alone a more expensive place like autobahn. People should jump on this.
