Picked up a NY paper last week. New 8's GT were being discounted 7K. Price was 25,500. Thinking of trading up. Live in FL. Anyone else herd about this. Have seen nothing here. Thank you in advance.

It was in the NY daily News, also herd this a few weeks ago. 8's are not selling due to the gas milage. Let me know if you hear anything. If gas goes to 5.00, they will be giving them away. Non issue for me, I only drive my 8 about 3K a year. Of course the trade in value also suffers, I monitor autotrader daily for prices.

 

They were 2008 models, not 2007.

Wow. Only 3000/yr? Hope you drive hard for those 3000 Rotary doesnt respond well to being babied.

 

Gas has been the death of a lot of vehicles. I say some 40k trucks being sold for 20k and 0% financing.

Crazy.

And to think: Back in 98 (I think) trucks outsold cars for the first (and only) time in America. What a difference a decade makes.
