Hello everyone, umm new here, and i used the search function, but no results...

Anyways, i fortunately have the homelink button working, but i am worried because i thought i read somewhere where if you press the homelink button, to open the garage door that the light should come out as green, but my homelink button is still red...

It works perfectly fine, but i'm wondering if the red light means something else is wrong, or is this normal?

No, mine flashes red.

I think it goes green to indicate it's learned the code.

I concur with StealthTL.

As long as the light doesn't blink rapidly when you press the button, programming was successful. (And, of course, the garage door opens!).

The Homelink section of the Owners Manual is one of the most poorly written....

 

haha yeah i agree, i tried once a long time ago and gave up, and tried again yesterday, works good now...
