Where can I get some MS skirts for a good price?

Topic.

I've looked around and the cheapest I saw was Trussville for 735 shipped. It seems to be the only place around with some MS skirts for some reason. Most of the other Mazda sites don't even list MS body parts anymore. I've even used the search button dammit. Any help. TIA.

FWIW you might want to call a local dealer too. Cite the price on Trussville/OnlineMazdaParts and they might cut you a deal on the install. I've been talking to my local guy and think I'll end up close to what I'd get online plus the install. Seems like they're trying to move these kits.

I've called the only dealer near me that sells MS parts and they qouted me 875 for the skirts and about 320 bucks for the install, without the hardware.

I've also call a couple of places and they said that it's not even on the some sort of nationwide list and I wouldn't have them for about 4-6 weeks at least. And on top of that, the price would be higher then what it is online, at least 750 to be exact. Trussville also doesn't have the part in stock but shipping isn't free on MS parts anymore. So I'm kinda clueless on what to do. I'm gonna try a couple of other places online to see if I can get some sort of deal.

Edit:

I found and ordered a set. BTW: The part number for the skirts are QSEA70900A67, not QSEA70900A79. Whew.

Really!!??!! just for the skirts? How much was the whole kit? I was thinking the whole kit cost around 1200-1300.

Correct. The hardware kit is sold separate so people can get their hands on the hardware incase they need to. The clips themselves like to snap. My clips snapped after 3 days of the install, I just supplemented them with some heavy duty double sided tape (the skirts themselves) and they have been holding strong since.

Nope. The body kit itself runs nearly $3,000. That is without the MS wing which is another $750 or so. You get what you pay for in quality, fitment, and looks.

Geezussss!!! I guess I was thinking about the factory appearance kit. Hmmmm... now I'm going to have to rethink which kit I want. For 3000, I'd rather get something else rather than the Mazdaspeed.

It's not too bad if you buy them at separate times. The MS kit is covered by insurance. Also, it comes pre-fitted with matching color.

sure about that? i mean anything can be covered under ins if you have it written in... but if it wasnt on the vehicle from the factory, which means it will turn up in VIN records, then ins wont cover it...

my mom has been writing auto and home owners for nearly 10 years now, i went round and round this with her for months until she showed me the fine print, so to speak

I think he means warranty, not insurance.

But still though, the MazdaSpeed kit is awesome, especially because of the fitment and it's colormatched, but for the price, I'd rather get something a little more "exotic".

the MS kit does not come in every color. You end up getting the primered for chearper then having it painted which ends up about the same price.
