My new look..

I had seen many people ask around getting this look and I got interested in it as well. Only found 1 person that did it before (Omicron) but his was in gray (ew ).. so just ended up doing it myself. It's the front air dam lip, Authentic Mazdaspeed side skirts and rear aero flares. I personally really like it. I'm not a big fan of the Mazdaspeed bumper or rear under spoiler. The $1300 I saved by not buying the Mazdaspeed bumper will go to my new wheels in a few weeks, Work Emotion XT-7. Besides the kit I've done 20% tint, OEM spoiler, clear corners & rotary accents to the outside. Enjoy.

PS: The drop will come later.

Did you buy the appearance package front spoiler, rear aero and MS sideskirts painted? If not, then how much was the total price for parts and paint job?

I bought the front air dam and rear aero as brand new painted OEM parts from eBay vendor azpartsexpress for $300. I bought the Mazdaspeed skirts from onlinemazdaparts.com, they came painted for $700.

I actually had Wayne Mazda install the Mazdaspeed skirts (thx Kevin aka teknics) since I wasn't too comfortable drilling holes in my car and because I was going to be at the dealer to take care of a TSB.

The front air dam and rear aero I did myself on the street. Pretty easy to do because the holes needed only to be drilled out since they are already marked into the oem bumpers. The hardest part was getting the freaking rear bumper off.

Total price, $1,150.

Your rear aero flares paint's don't seem to match with the rest of the car.

Clean. but to me it seems like the sides are to low for the front lip of the car.

Sideskirts look great, they really make the car look better. Now just get the MS front and your car will be awesome.

If you look close enough that is what you'll see. At the sideskirts I have 5 inches of clearance, at the front lip I have something like 7.

Very nice. I like the MS side skirts, even without the MS front or rear.

I wish the factory side skirts were more like those. The curved underbody of stock just seems to collect large quantities of sticky road crud. Something flared outwards like yours probably takes the dirt on its flat bottom, where it isn't seen.

The only thing I'd like is symmetry -- the front end should have the same upward flare as the back end. I've seen ones like that but I can't remember who made them.
