New owner in MA

After about 2 years of biding my time I finally got rid of my old car and bought my 8. I won't actually be picking it up until next saturday (The dealership I went to had to get it from another dealership, also having them install a spoiler). I think this is going to be the longest week of my life.

Anyway, it's a new '07 Stormy Blue GT with black leather interior. Manual of course.

Here's hoping to a wonderful relationship with my new car, it's been a long time coming. Also hope to see some of you guys around.

Oh, BTW, I got it from O'Hara Mazda in Fairhaven, MA. I can't say enough about how good these guys were to me. Highly recommended.

Welcome. Glad to hear you had a good experience with your dealership. Now take some time and get to know the service dept. It makes a big difference knowing the service guys know how to take care of your 8. Make sure it has the latest flash and all TSB's taken care of. Good luck with it. Have fun and drive hard.

Welcome aboard. You just missed the Cape run. No worries, they'll be another. I read that you won't have the car untill next week, I know that deal. We also meet in West Bridgewater often.

Before my 8 I had a Protege 5, so I'm also a member of NEPOC (New England Protege Owners Club) http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=171

I'm a NEPOC mod over there and organize many of the meets/events like the Cape run. We thought of changing the name since many of us all have other Mazdas that are not Protege, but it's grandfathered at this point. One of our members lives in West Bridgewater (owns a turboed P5) and we meet there from time to time for installs and what not.
