Is there anywhere in Canada that has better prices than local dealershpis on the factory mazda accessories?

I know there are a few in the states like trussville mazda and such but the shipping and duty charges to bring them into Canada would probably make the price work out to be pretty close to what a dealer here wants for them.

I'm having a hard time agreeing to pay $400 for strakes and $714 for the front air dam. If anyone knows a cheaper place to get this stuff I'd love to hear about it.

 

You have to mix and match - compare the Canadian MSRP of the accessories to the prices from Trussville and www.finishlineperformance.com . Some are cheaper here, some are cheaper from there! Also - consider joining your local Miata club ( www.wildrosemiata.com ). Club members get a parts and labour discount at the Mazda dealers - I got 10% or 15% off accessories in Calgary this way.

I ended up buying the strakes from Finishline Performance - $400 Cdn is ridiculous, compared to $198 US. I also bought a few other things, like touch-up paint and a car cover for my Miata, from them to spread the shipping/brokerage across more items. Even with brokerage, however, it's cheaper to buy some stuff from them.

I don't remember who compiled it, but somewhere in the history on here is a list of Canadian Delerships that will offer deals to RX-8 club members along with the contact info.. it also had my own little addition, which was the dealers cost list for all the factory accessories.

There is a dealership here in Nova Scotia that offers dealer cost + 10%, for example.

 

Score! I scrolled back a page or two and found the thread.
On page two is a listing of 2 dealerships in Canada that offer cost +10%, and there is also a link to the option listing.

On second thought, somebody should probably sticky that thread up at the top, or else this conversation will be started every couple weeks.
