Iowa/Nebraska ALL Mazda & ALL Mitsubishi Meet - June 21st!!

Yea you read right!!....

Saturday June 21st, 2008... I am hosting a Iowa/ Nebraska ALL Mazda & ALL Mitsubishi Meet!

Location: Chalco Hills Park - 156th and Giles St., Omaha, NE @ 12pm (noon)

BBQ, Cruise, and just whatever!!!

--Maybe somewhere for drinks after the cruise?? (still up for suggestions)

Prize for Best Mazda & Best Mitsu!!

Map:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=e...=UTF8&t=h&z=15

Directions:
Get on 144th street, tun west unto Giles Rd. The park enterace is clearly marked across from 154th Ave.

This will lead you into the main part of the park. Come to your first stop sign and take a left. It will lead you past a house on your right hand side, down a hill, and then curving up another hill. You will come to a large area with space for maybe 75 cars and picnic tables overlooking the lake.

This meet is open to ALL Mazda owners & ALL Mitsubishi owners. Whether you own an RX8, an RX7, an 6, an Evo, an Lancer, or Eclipse... ALL Mazda's & ALL Mitsubishi's are wanted here & welcomed at this meet! **Of course non-Mazda & non-Mitsu owners are welcomed too! Just want to have a badass turnout with a lot of awesome cars and owners!

I know the RX8 guys recently did a meet at this very same location and everything, I know because I was there. But taking into consideration the large amount of cars that could show up just between the Mazda & Mitsubishi owners alone, plus anyone else that comes; we need a place where the parking lot would be big enough and then some. Plus, its going to be the middle of summer, so who in their right mind wouldn't want to be outside enjoying the weather! (Remember sunscreen is your friend!)

*Oh and this time I promise not to forget about the prize for best car, in this case best Mazda & best Mitsu!!! Prize is a secret! And can only be won by getting the most votes from the people attending the meet! Mazda owners are allowed to vote for Mitsu owners and vise versa!

Hope to see everyone I meet recently at the RX8 meet again, plus all you guys that couldn't make it!! Definitely had a blast with you guys, and this meet will be even better!!

------------------------------------------

Picnic List

Hot Dogs & Buns (1 person) - wassup_nuthin

sweet glad i'm gunna get to meet you. i honestly had such a blast at the last mazda meet.. that i had to bring it together with what i am truly in love with (mitusbishi).

plus i thought a cruise with AWD, RWD, and FWD would be interesting as all hell. you always have FWD and RWD or AWD and FWD but never for me all 3.

Darn, you picked the wrong time of the month for this one. CWS will be going and I will be attending. The party will be downtown even if there isn't a game.

Well if you guys/gals go out afterwards and want pretty much an all night party I can leave my cell with someone. Either downtown in the Old Market or on 13th street there will be partying all night long.

There are certain forums on this site that don't add to your post count. Regional Forums are one of those.

How would you fit the meet into your schedule when that Saturday is the first game of the championship game?

Cars or baseball. Unless the Huskers are playing its not much of a choice.

True because they moved it further back this year to Monday. There is still a possibility of (2) games though on Saturday. Also the chances of the Huskers being there are looking mighty good.
