In the Event the Raffle dies not sell enough tickets by 5/15/2008, the raffle will automatically become a 50/50 drawing and the winner will recieve 50% of the proceeds.

Details:
This raffle is for the outlined prize(s) noted above. Anyone can participate and you are more than welcome to sell the prize if you win. The Gas Card was NOT donated to the Executive Board of The RX-8 Brotherhood of the Dragon. This Raffle Package is in the possession of the BOTD board. BOTD Board of Directors are not eligible to participate in the raffles. All funds collected will be used to enhance the Annual RX-8 Brotherhood of the Dragon meet. As each ticket is purchased your name will be added next to a number in the table. Upon completion of the raffle one number will be drawn by an official Notary Public of the State of Florida, who will authentic and verify the results. The Notary will then complete the official winners contract and sign it. This document will then be posted on www.rx8botd.com. The winner will then be provided instructions on claiming the prize.

 

So... if the winner receive 50% of the proceeds, would that mean that the gas card will be split in half?

Ok BlueGrim, it's been 4 days...what's going on?!?

 

JEdi you are right. When all the tickets to a raffle aren't sold a winner is drawn and he/she gets haf of the funds collected from the sale of the tickets.

I think Grim is busy guys. They have already started planning the event from the feeler thread that was posted about registration. I hope future raffles sell better than this. I would have thought folks would have jumped on the chance to win 4-5 tanks of gas.

 

Sorry guys I have been out of town. The raffle did not sell enough tickets and therfore will be a 50/50 raffle. The winner will be drawn tonight and will receive $141 as a gift card to the vendor of their choice.
