aircondition filter

1) Is anyone aware of any aftermarket aircondition filter that is better than OEM? (i.e. carbon, hepa, etc.) ?

2) Just for information, the A/C filter, filters only the air passed from A/C compressor or also the cabins air fan (without a/c on)?

I have none. It's better cause it's free! Napa sells one that's 1/2 price. To answer #2, I believe all air goes through it.

Very easy. I did it myself without guidance. There is somewhere a step-by-step in this forum but just try to remove the glovebox and you will see an enclosure on the left corner, take off the white cover and it's there.

Anyone aware of a European site that will offer this or a similar filter? This company will only ship to US and only a few EU countries.

The local dealer will sell only the OEM not the one mentioned here, and his price is 3 times higher than the US.

I believe there's a DIY that shows how to make your own. You buy a home furnace filter that's the same material, then cut out a piece the right size.
