I wonder how many got excited seeing the thread, haha. But ya, anyone got info yet, Leesha, you seem to be in the know. Rumours of Duffering and Sheppherd, Army base? On a side note, I have no clue how pics of my car got on the motm site, http://www.motm.ca/images/album/RX-8.../DSC01002.html . Good thing none of those shots had pics of my wheels, nuthing by brake dust.
I would prefer it at Cayuga again, who cares if its far, more of a cruise this way, plus when else do Kris, proficientone and I get to open up the throttle, lol. An army base would be cool, but the drive down would be pretty blah.

There are alot of people involved regarding the MOTM.
And yes, a few people complained about the venue being so far. I have no idea why these Toronto people complain about driving. They're suppose to like driving! That's why we got Mazda's! lol
I don't know all the details yet. So I can't comment further. I hope it's something exciting!

I hope so too, hopefully a summer, perfect weather last time. We will bring more drinks and a bbq this year. Interesting Leesha is on the committee, guess thats where the pics came from. Anyone else think, Leesha's car will be up on a podium at Motm 2008. J/k Leesha.

Qwtre does speak the truth, I personally enjoy it, cause its the only time we actually see all these 8 members we would never see, plus some of them have some neat meets. MotM is where I first met wcs, with his nitrous equipped 8, BrianGT, who had the lotek gauge pod in, which was something I was and still consdering. Plus the cruise up to Motm is fun. And that time Neo, we werent cruising lik 8s, but rather 7s, try getting to Hamilton from Markham in half hour.

So far we have not confirmed the location for MOTM 2008 but we are working on it.
Once something is finalized you'll be sure to hear about it.
BTW we are looking at going back to the origins of MOTM and having a picnic style setting.

Picnic style would be awesome though. What was that park it was at (i think) 3 years ago? It was in the Hamilton direction. That was a good place. Better than the year after when we parked on those lanes of gravel.

Geez I didn't make any pictures at all from last year. I liked having it at Cayuga. Its hadny to have 1/4mile and lapping action all in the same place. It was really crazy busy by afternoon though which wasn't so much for me. You were basically locked into staying by that point. HOpefully this years is just as good.
