Can somebody make a new dash piece with NO lcd?

I was thinking a cool idea for the people with corksport would bet to have a center dash piece made that didn't have the retarded 1982 LCD display.. I mean, if you have the corksport kit you really don't need it.. I can tell which vents the air is blowing out of without it.

how hard do you think it would be to do? I got big money for whoever can get me one

or do you think it might be easier to get a used one - cut out and glass the whole and then paint the whole thing to match the car... hhm I'm liking what i'm thinking - or maybe its the vodka...

*starting up photoshop*

I also wonder if you could take out the LCD and put useful information in that space.. like digital temp gauges for your oil / amp and stuff?

I have a source who can do that as well It doesn't bother me so much though so I've left mine in place, I'd still like to be able to customize the display to read out what I want it too as far as the words and such but evidently there's a lot involved in that from what I'm told/searched.

that sounds like an awesome idea! Would the space be big enough to get anything readable into it?
