do you have to have certified seats to run the 1/4 mi and to autox? not like competitive auto x just going to occasional events?

 

it depends on how fast you run.

one 1/4 mile track in maryland:
13.99 and below, must wear helmet
11.49 and below, must have rollcage

i dont know about seats. but i have a friend that can run 11s and he has stock seats and thats fine. i doubt you are running 11s.

 

yeah i know about the cage rule on the 1/4 id wear a helmate regardless but if i get like no namebrand seats i dont wnat that to jepordize me being able to run on the track/ autox events
