I'm looking to purchase racing seats within the next few months, but can't decide on which one. All I know for sure is that I want the seat to be FIA Approved.

As the title says post up the pictures to help me decide.

 

I don't have any, but the Recaros in the new '09 8 are pretty sweet. Probably not what you are looking for though.

Search for a guy named "Lazi" he had Bride racing seats in his 8 when he had it which looked sick.

Sit in the seat before you buy a fixed back seat. Trust me.

 

No harnesses, just a drivers side seat for now.



Yeah, I have seen his. I started this thread so that I could see more options and see how they look like.

 

I've tried a sparco EVO, and a Recaro Pole Position. The Recaro's were awesome, sparcos were not comfy.

Id like to see some picts too. I did go sit in the R3 last night and the seat is uncomfortable as hell. I'm just too damn wide. Why can't they make an RX8 for tall wide people?

Because then everyone else who buys an RX-8 will lose. Extra wide seats = extra weight = less space for other things = probably a wider RX-8.

This way only you lose, and you can always lose the weight and saw off part of your shins to fit in.
