My Installation manual for this HID kit from visionpro is telling me to drill, yes drill, quote" Drill a hole in the middle of the back cap with a 25mm cutter and an 8 mm drill" is this really what i need to do to install HID's?

 

No, not necessary.

 

i installed an HID conversion kit in mine. and i had to do no drilling what so ever. except to mount the ballast.
